Back from the isle of smiles to a cold overcast day back home.
flight over on strategic was ok. Food is absolute crap - for breakfast we got some soggy roll which was inedible. You can certainly see they dont care about the Perth/Bali flights any more as they are ceasing them at the end of October.
On the flight back we were delayed by one hour. We were packed in the waiting area which was really hot and people werent happy. As we had paid money for the Dewa Lounge (Prada had no electricity and was closed) we werent happy either - they obviously knew there would be a delay but called boarding anyway.
We received a variety of excuses about the delay including "toilets arent working on the plane" "flights are backed up" and my personal favourite "they couldnt afford to pay for their fuel"
On the way back we had the same crappy soggy roll with pickled vegetables in it. Also there was no movie which was a bit of a shame considering the plane was packed with kids.
I definately wouldnt fly with them again even if their service wasnt closing down
