We stayed in Sanur for 10nights over Xmas/New Year 2 years ago and loved it. It was super busy, being that it's school holidays too, so it was nice to be out of the extreme hustle and bustle. Would take us about 25min to get to Kuta, to be honest we only went in maybe 3 times.
