like to do. I like a balance between shopping, restaurants and relaxation and find that after a week I have exhausted my shopping options in Sanur! We stayed in Sanur over Xmas/New Year 2 years ago & whilst it was busier than when we've stayed before, it was nothing like the mayhem of traffic and people I've heard about in Kuta etc.
New Years Eve was great (especially for us with a young child), we ate at one of the beachfront restaurants, toes in the sand, watching the fireworks display put on by locals & tourists alike. It was a nice, laidback evening which is how we like it :-)

We will be in Sanur over Xmas again this year for 7 nights then on to Nusa Dua for 5 before finishing in Legian/Kuta for 9 days.

We like to mix it up a bit each time we go, regardless of the time of year, heading to our 2 fave spots (Sanur & Legian) and also going & exploring somewhere we haven't stayed before.
A lot of people ask us if the moving around is a pain or interruption to our holiday but we enjoy it and like a bit of variety! Good luck with your decision :-)
