I agree, it is a rip off. I spoke to a lady at qantas a couple of years ago (once jetstar took over the per-bali route) and she admitted that Jetstar can charge whatever they like in taxes on the DPS routes.

Some people use their FF to fly to say Perth and then get a cheap airfare from Perth to Bali return.
