i do not live in australia so i have no idea of when kind of wood u can bring in to ur country. also, i was thinking u meant a big sign for a buisness. i had one carved from a wood called "lingua" whis is hard like teak but it was around 4 foot x 3 foot and it cost me Rp 600,000. it is stil hanging outside of my buisness 9 years later, with no problem, but i think u mean the little small ones u see in many shops. i have seen a shop on jl benesari close to komala indah 2 that offer these custom carved small name signs.
