The traffic out the front of the cottages was terrible. The road works or what ever it was was holding up the traffic an there was long waits in the taxi to get down past Bemo corner. It may be all fixed in that area now and moved on to the next area. Just my luck for it to be down in Kuta by the time I get there in Nov
I found it easier to walk down the lane at the back to get to Poppies lane 2 or go up to Melasti st. It was a pleasant walk and I saw things I would not have usually seen. Lots of good eating places along the lane way.
We got to the hotel at 9am as our flight from Perth landed at 8.30am and check in wasnt until 2pm so we had to leave our luggage out the front at reception, we decided that we would go for a walk along the street to get our bearings and we kept on checking in to see if they could get us into our rom any earlier but nope, finally got in just after 2pm.
We on a few occassions we requested late check out and kept getting told will let you know but on the day we had to book out was told no you have to book out at 12 noon. Made it a long day since we werent flying out until midnight.
The rooms where basic but hey the price is right, was to cold for the aircon so didnt have it on, the pool was very cold for me but I just put it down to that time of year.
