Most parents guide and control their teenagers to the best of their ability. However, some children are just born plain difficult and present a lot of challenging behaviour..This is what makes them an individual...So really in some cases all the control and guidence in the world seems to make little difference.
I feel for the parents..Because they made a mistake by letting their child wander alone in Bali..It was a bad decision which they will carry with them for the rest of their lives..To a certain degree, yes, they let their Son down by allowing him to wander on his own.
Perhaps though, they thought that their son would never contemplate bying pot off the street in a different country. That was their first mistake..Never assume that your child wont do or try something.
I hope that the child stays safe and comes out of this predicament with a healthy mind and body still intact..And a huge life lesson learnt...
