You have to feel for the family, drugs are everywhere, temptation is everywhere, stupid teenagers are also everywhere. Parents have to loosen the apron strings at some stage and trust their kids to do the right thing and sometimes it backfires.
I drill it in to my kids that they will be offered drugs in Bali, that it it often a set up and to keep walking and not stop that Bali have the death penalty. Kids no matter how young need to be aware of the dangers so they can be aware of the pitfalls. Forwarned is forarmed so the saying goes.
Too often Aussies break the rules in Bali, how many teens are on bikes not licenced or are in the clubs drinking.
I feel for this family and hope that their plight causes others to think twice about the actions thay take over there.
