Try a drive ou towards Tabanan City. The parks and statues around the city are bloody wonderful.
Also in that area is the Marga Rana Memorial....absolutely worth the drive in itself.
The Beringkit Markets in Mengwi (near Tabanan City) are bloody great. They are only open Sunday and Wednesday and are well worth the visit.
There is a Butterfly Park not far from Marga Rana that could be worth a look on the day.
After seeing all that you could head down to the coast (not that far) and drive back through Balian, Tanah Lot, Canggu etc and finish off with a sunset on a beach that has no bar, no tourists, no hawkers.....just you and the Sunset ;-)
Might be worth a shot.
