They don't have family rooms or interconnecting, but depending on the age of the kids they have rooms that share a balcony (the only two rooms on that floor with nothing dividing the balcony in other words), I feel these rooms would be suitable as you are right next to each other. I do love KP but Kusnadi is equal in my opinion......KP is better for bigger groups (thats why we're staying there next June as there will be 6 women) as Kusnadi don't have a lot of lounges near the pool, no trouble with lounge hogs though. It is nice also to sit at KP and have your breakky overlooking the beach. These two things are the only real difference between the two hotels.
