Hi
I have stayed at LBH before and amd staying at Padma next trip. I Stayed in bungalow at LBH by the time they put a rollaway in there is not much room, but was not uncomfortable, we did have a little room with bench seat as you walked in door and a little veranda. Ours was a twin bungalow right next to the pool, not sure if kind rooms are differnt layout, the one netx to use had a hug veranda but our was only small. There was no kids club at this hotel and I think I only saw 3 kids the whole week we were there, there is a little kids pool, shallow depth ideal for 3 yr old in the pool with pool bar. I ddin't use other pool so cant comment on that one. The LBH is an older style hotel but rooms have been refreshed, new bed spreads etc. I have friends who stay at the padma often and who love the premier room as they have a lovely veranda and she says more room to move. I am looking forward to staying at the Padma from the pictures looks a bit more upmarket than LBH, especially with the recent renovations and new pool. We did love the LBH it is a great location, except if you get a taxi back to hotel it has to go all the way aorund the big one way loop through Kuta unless you get dropped at melasti/legian st intersection and walk back. Great sunset lounge area, lovely breakfast etc although we were dissapointed with the standard of the rooms for the price we paid. If you are loooking at other areas, holiday inn baruna is a great family hotel. Stayed there with my 2 kids and was fabulous. Very clean, new fresh, fantastic staff, great pool and restaurants and not overcrowded. Enjoy your holiday....
