when you go to Indonesia you are allowed to take one (1) litre per adult.
when you come back to Australia you are allowed two and a quarter litres (2.25) per adult.
What you do is buy the 2.25 at Duty Free at the airport when leaving and the Duty Free shop keeps it for you to pick-up when you get back.
