I am usually there May/June & I find the limes (or lemons) dry & pithy with lots of seeds. I am blessed with neighbours who have a prolific tree bearing a lemon/lime cross - full of juice, thin skinned & no seeds - so I always take dozens. Travelling companions have thought I was a dill (sort of like taking coals to Newcastle) but once my limes run out & we are forced to buy the local ones, they don't think I am so silly afterall.
