Duty Free Change of arrival

When I left Perth Airport< I bought my duty free alcohol prior to departure and notified them when I was coming back, but have to now leave a couple of days earlier - who , how and do I need to let them know I am arriving earlier ? I would imagine I have to as they wouldn't have my order ready would they ??
