air asia flights

hi, can anyone tell me that has flown with air asia before, are the departures in the same area as arrivals,
just curious to know if i fly from perth or gold coast onto kl then kl to bali, naturally it would b in the same international terminal, i wouldn't have to leave the airport, is this correct??
