Departure Tax 2yr old??

I've heard many conflicting stories re: paying the 150,000 departure tax for a child under 2years old. He isn't occupying a seat. Has anyone been through recently who is able to tell me if I have to pay it next week? I don't want to be caught out with not enough rupiah and no one seems to actually know.
