As far as I know there has been no changes to land ownership laws in Indonesia, there has been discussion about it, but no actual laws have changed (despite what various dodgy developers might tell you).

As recently as January this year, Housing Minister Suharso Monoarfa announced at a seminar in Jakarta that they are considering allowing foreigners to own homes in certain zones. There are also calls to extend the lease limit from 25 years to 75 years. But none of this is in place and new bills have been brought before parliament to pass these laws. In addition, even IF they ever are, typically it takes years for the new laws to then be enacted.
