for 2 people, nasi campur take away to beach from that little warung mentioned lower down near Zanzibar. 10,000 or 12,000 for Bakso from the bakso man on the beach. Around 3-5000 (depends if you get local price or tourist price) from the bicycle/motorbike mounted vendors, that is Nasi Ayam bungkus. In my experience all delicious, different from our western norm and have never yet had a problem with getting sick from them.
Careful if you are not used to chilli in large amounts though however they will serve it for you without. All the local beach sellers eat from them and the hotel employees too. There is no way they are going to risk making their regular customers sick because there are plenty of other vendors to go to if they did this.
Same story on Kuta beach as Legian except that there are way more to choose from on Kuta Beach. The nasi Padang and nasi Jawa are my favourites somewhere near the end of Poppies one on the beach. The Goat satay always smells good too.
