And we always make sure we don't need to use the toilets. The main reason we have used ferries is because we take a car with us. The passenger rate is around 30,000 rp a person and around 550,000rp for a car, a bike is cheaper. We take a few cold bin tangs and a few nibbles, sit on the top deck and chat or read for 4 to 6 hours depending on how many boats are docking at the same time. Then in a car or bike you just head off the ferry and your on your way. If you are a passenger on foot you do have to deal with fairly in your face transport guys but it's all part of the experience. The ferry leaves from padding bai and docks in Lembar.
