Over the last three years my wife and I have stayed in 3 different villas in seminyak, all with pros and cons.
(a) The villas hotel and spa on Kunti. really nice gardens, full size swimming pool (a lot of 1 bed villas just have plunge pools), breakfast prepared in the villa each morning(whilst we had a morning swim), highly rated (but a touch expensive) spa. - cons, smaller bedroom and bathroom than the others to follow (although the bath is comfortably big enough for two)
(b) The Ulin - Again, full sized swimming pool, lounge area is inside (air-conditioned), awesome bed (very comfy), bathroom nice and big with a really romantic massive bath, fantastic location (100 mertes from "eat st", great restaurants), spa bale in villa by the pool (massages in your villa), complimentry mini bar (beers and softies replenished each day), complimentary bottle of wine and fruit.
(c) The Cicada luxury townhouses - (stayed at rooftop villa) - very big internal rooms, bedroom quite big, very roomy kitchen, dining, lounge area, massive bathroom ( but bath was disappointingly small), outdoor area quite small with just a plunge pool that is not asprivate as we would have liked.
Overall, we just loved The Ulin, going back again in Oct.
