a commitment ceremony is when a couple straight,gay or batting for both teams does in place of a wedding.......its a life long commitment witnessed by loved ones and honoured by a celebrant for those who cant marry for legal or religious reasons or just dont beleive in the legalities of a marriage. Thats it in a nutshell just in case you werent trying to be funny??
