They charged 125000 rup for every kilo in excess at the airport. 8kg over but we had that in our hand luggage allowance so i thought I would be alright..but NO! When we checked-in he worked it out at 12kg but he rounded everyone up so I wrote down each weight once we had put some more in our hand luggage..very silly since its all going on the same plane??????? It should have been 7.5kg over so he told me he was charging for 8kilo but now checking my visa he has charged for 10. We are only talking $35 but it amazes me we had 28kg in hand luggage allowance and we only had 13kg(didnt want to bulk up as I had 2 small children to chase after as well) and they can charge excess when it is all my luggage going on the plane and it was within my total limit? Oh well...it was a great holiday!!
