Depending on your driver and how adventurous he is it should take about an hour.
There are a couple of routes that go through some out of the way villages or they will go across towards Mengwi then straight up the hill.
If they take the Mengwi option the I would suggest heading a little further to the West and stop in at the Marga Rana Memorial. From there take the parallel road to the West of the main road and you will see a far greater range of Rice Terraces up towards Jatiluwih. This will bring you into Bedugul from the Southwest rather than over the top of the mountain. It's way more interesting and then you can travel down the main road on your way back without seeing the same things twice.
