visit the warungs near the kuta markets. We (as regular tourists) drink at the sunset bar with our good friends: locals and tourist friends. Lunch is extremely cheap from the local warungs-I avoid the chicken and seafood, have had no problems with off food. Cost: around 15000Rp for nasi champour, nasi goreng or mie goreng. Great local food. They will even bring it to you on the beach.
Enjoy the sunset, the atmosphere and the happy faces. I do not get bugged by the sellers as they know us and I buy a few bracelets etc from the same ones each time.
