Why are you worried about 19% increase in hotel costs per night, I spent 12 weeks in Adelaide and it cost me over $7500, AUD $125/night in a dog box with no breakfast, had to buy my own toilet paper, food cost on average meal $15-20, petrol $1.35/litre hire car from air port $155/day. Wake up!!
the average wage has gone for government min wage in bali to Rp 1,250,000 per month cost of a coss for an employee to live /rent Rp600,000/month, electricity costs have increased by 30% over the past 2 years, the exchange rate for AUD has never been better today 9065 this morning,a Bingtang costs AUD $2.05 compared to average $7.50 in Aus. food and clothing for us is cheap to buy otherwise why are you coming here anyway???
national GDP growth is still some of the best in the world,be happy don't compare prices from yesteryear but look at costs and relise everything must go up, even your wages or pension goes up in Aussie not here think a little for the unfortunate little bussinesses that need to pay to survive.
Sorry just my opinion.
