I Popped into alta moda looking for kids printed cotton and was dissapointed. They didn't have much to pick from in 100% cotton . A few pastel prints was about it. Much nicer patchworks fabric available in Australia for making kids cloths from. Lots of people mention better fabric shops in Denpasar but I haven't been there.
In relation to a tailor I had some stuff made for my self, I wanted a few sundresses copied from a favoiurite that I had. I took mt own knit fabric from home and got them made at Komang tailor in Padma street. the dresses came out well and fitted perfect, Cost me $20 a dress from memory. People may say that is expensive but I was happy with the job they did and was ready in 3 days.
