Bali Villas by Jennifer in Penestanan, about 20 mins walk to Ubud. They are located down a small rural lane off Jl Penestanan. There are a handful of restaurants nearby on the main rd (the best being Warung Mendez - this is a must try if you are in or near Ubud IMO). We looked through the villas when we stayed nearby at Hotel D'Omah last October (which incidentally is a lovely hotel, very quiet and peaceful set in gorgeous grounds). The villas do not have private pools but are well within your price range. Gorgeous gardens, nice new villas with lovely views from the top floor.
