Mas is the woodcarving village so I'm thinking crafts people there could probably stretch to carpentry? Sorry can't be more specific.
One thought- just on the Nyuh Kuning side of the Monkey Forest a young man has his workshop(right handside coming out of forest, past Alam Indah entrance). We bought the most beautiful painted Buddha from him two years ago and he was still there last Oct. Anyway his work was so good and he does everything with wood and though he's not a retailer he seemed very happy to sell us this piece at reasonable price . He may be able to help you.
