used to stich them together. Often they use a cheap cotton thread that has no strengh. Also how well stitched they are at critical points.
I've had a few boardbags from Bali that just do not have the attention to detail of the big brands and are not that different in price given their limited lifespan. Also its a pain when your boardbag disintegrates in transit and you have to finish your trip with an unprotected board.
