I did a bike ride around Bali with 7 mates and had a ball last may (The Bali Hogs), we had a local girl escort us out of Kuta and after that it was not as busy.
We all had aussie motorbike licenses and purchased international licenses issued from the RACV in Melbourne and we were covered either by travel insurace purchased or our credit card insurance because we paid a certain percentage of the trip with our cards.
We are going back again next year to do it again.
