taking own surfboard over for 1st time. can anyone tell me, when we get to airport do we check it in with us & bags or does it have to go to a different counter for oversized items etc (we are flying Garuda from Sydney). Also does the weight of the surfboard get taking off the luggage or do you pay an extra fee for such items.
