Melbourne Cup Day

Hi everyone. Have just realised we will be on the Island Of The Gods for Melbourne Cup,Day this year. We will be staying at The Dynasty in South Kuta/Tuban and no doubt there will be some sort of "party" at Gracie Kellys pub at this resort but was wondering if anyone has been there at that time and can recommend any other super places to watch the race and perhaps have a flitter/sweep.
