Tried a few restaurants. Most of them recommended here of course.
Delicious onion, great little find, food was really nice, bathrooms and service spot on. Had spanish music playing by live band. Organised a birthday cake 1 hour before 100,000rp and just beautifull icing very sweet kids loved it would have cost over $45 in Perth.Pinapple maguaritas were very nice.
Made Warung Seminyak ate here quite a few times, yummy vitnamese spring rolls 35,000rp special noodles 50,000rp(mie goreng) yummy and peppery, burgers very good 45,000rp green thai curry 50,000rp lovely, fragrant and spicey, chicken sate 35,000 came with about 8 sticks nice flavour and tender, pancakes 20,000 huge serve.
Pearl Restuarant this place is a must do for adults, leave kids at home :) It was one of the best meals I have had and can compare to any high end Perth restaurant. Lobster bisque and chilled pumpkin soup, so rich !!! hubby had the duck and the duck was juicy superb sauce, I had lamb shank very very nice, coffee something for dessert which came with a shot of expresso, chocolate mouse and a little srawberry pudding, I had trilogy of chocolate YUMMY. We fancied a bottle of wine 560,000 rp Two Trees Australian chardonay total bill 1.3 million worth it. Service was exceptional one waiter per table. Toilets were really different, bit tipsy on wine does not help either when it is surrounded by mirrored walls and floor lights and yes the waterfall is for hand washing, hiccup. Felt like I was having a flash back from my youth...and yes I did see a ginger rabbit hop by my feet.

Restaurant outside Matahari's otherside of the door to Mcdonalds makes nice food, toilets clean, service and price good.
Melasti restaurant good food, service and price. Ladies toilet does not have a wash hand basin.
Spa's again many recommended here.
Best find, best quality 8/10, best price was the spa at Waterbom park. Got hijacked when in the park and was so pleased I did. When I hesitated she immediately offered 2 for 1 price (Rosa) said if I mentioned her name I could come back again for same price 220,000 for 2 massages.
Chill 7.5/10 I got a pressure point massage here and then so did hubby, we both felt like this was a quality massage done by poeple who know there stuff. You have your feet washed on a warm marble plate and during massage are given an IPOD to listen to. 220,000rp.
Mara River resort spa 8/10, had a facial here, very relaxing and I had a micro nap, (woke myself up with the one off snore that tells you that you have drifted off)200,000 rp. I have very sentive skin and no prblems with the products and you get a massage during the mask.
Bodyworx Seminyak 7/10, ok masage cheaper price did a good job of the delux manicure.
Glow Seminyak 6/10, was very dissapointed, most expensive, and that they over charged me as well I booked the 1 hour massage 160,000rp then they charged me for a higher quality massage 230,000 and then 21% tax on top of that.Did not receive a higher quality massage at all.
PIP in Legion,5.5/10 very ordinary here, chairs and tables not very cofortable, therapist not consistent with massage, too hard then too soft, told me my toe nails were dry put on my sandles and smudged the polish, which I did not notice until I got outside.
Still think the Febris day spa one of the better ones for value, quality and service.
Taxis, we jumped into every shade of blue and silver, no problems at all, we did find that we got taken a different way each time and when we said quickest most direct way get the better tip, bravo !! I was taken on a cooks tour when I got into a taxi by myself and it cost nearly double, so a metered taxi does not guarantee your not getting ripped off.
