You don't need USD for VOA. My daughter was talking to us on Sunday and wanted to join us here in Bali. Found her a cheap flight and she flew out Sunday evening. She just used her Aussie money and was given rupiah change. Don't waste your time or money changing money in Australia when coming to Bali.
