Tirtagangga / Hot Springs

Hi

I'm researching day trip ideas.. we would like to go to the Tirtagangga water palace and also a hot spring.

Is it possible to do both on the same day? Is there a hot spring near the water palace?

I have been to the hot springs near Lovina before, how do the hot springs at/near the water palace compare?

I will be in Bali for just over 2 weeks but a friend will only be there for 6 nights so this time I would like to avoid a long day trip North if possible.
