Stayed at both mandira and melasti, the mandira has very nice gardens and very nice pools and meals, but the melasti is nice but is not as nice as the mandira.
The breakfast at the mandira was very nice and depending on the package you book depends on which breakfast area you go to. The mandira had a beautiful rock wall and plants in the shower and spa at the eternity pool.
Where as the melasti was one breakfast area for all. The breakfast still has an egg man and has just had a refurbed breakfast area.
I loved the melasti though as it just felt more homely than the mandira. The melasti may not be as up market and the gardens are not as nice but the melasti just felt more welcoming and homely. it is a little further to walk done to garlic lane but still really good value for money with 2 pools and swim up bars at both of the pools.
