we were there in July and hardly ventured past the Bintang Supermarket ( except for Potato Head one night) as we couldnt be bothered sitiing in a Taxi either. I do hope they can do something about it soon before it ruins the whole atmosphere. I like to walk a lot in Bali but dont always want to walk to a restaurant and arrive hot and sweaty...dont mind the walk home to let the food digest !!
