maybe Kumala Pantai would suit you. They are usually heavily booked especially during high season. If not have a look at Puri Damai. Possibly Kusnadi. They are all North Legian. KP has the advantage of being on the beach and has access to all the lovely beach-side restaurants right at their back gate with no dark lanes to negotiate. For that reason maybe Jayakarta too. It's a bit big for my taste but has the same location advantages.
