Depending where abouts in Legian it should take around 5 - 10 minutes in a taxi. Just ask the taxi to head towards carrefour and just passed it on the left is a row of shops - smartfren is located in these shops. You will need to take id for registration - just take your passport or drivers licence. I would also suggest taking your laptop so that they can set it all up for you. Also if you are planning on returning to Bali - keep the modem and when you are next in Bali all you will need to do is purchase credit.
