howdy all, just back after ten days in bali,stayed at the ramayana in kuta and would rate it as one of the best i've stayed at over the past twenty years of going to bali, great rooms, food, service and exceptional service from the staff.
could bleat about the pool hogs but have come to expect that over the years and honestly if thats there thing in life, then let them catch all the rays they want, hope there skin looks like leather in years to come.
exchange rate was good,changed a bit on a daily basis but only by a few cents in the dollar nothing to lose sleep over.
had some great feeds at the usuall haunts and tried the little italy restuarant upstairs near front entance to matahari, great food and service.
shopping was good, found the kuta art markets good for el cheapo shirts etc, went to carefour and was disapointed by range and prices street vendors better value for me.
took travelan on daily basis and had no problems with belly at all, had a tattoo done at mr dolphin his shop is spotless and shows you new sealed needles before he starts, never too old to get your first tattoo.
had a ball in bali and will be back again same time next year, would like to thank this forum and the people that contribute to it for all of the usefull information its always good to hear other peoples views.
