Hi,
I have used Dr Rudi twice now over the past couple of years for fillings, RCT and crowns, with my extended family and friends. I used to be married to a dentist and know a fair bit about the procedures etc as i ran the practices and assisted chairside. Dr Rudi and his staff are good. This last trip I just had a couple of crowns fitted as well as a few fillings. I wanted to save a badly broken tooth and have it crowned and Dr Rudi rightly said it was beyond saving, he extracted it on the second day of my holiday along with doing a couple of fillings and preparing for my crowns.
I have a very low tolerance level to infection, but had no problems.
I was a little peeved that although Rudi did the fillings and extraction, the nurse and hygienist took the crown impressions.
But overall, my fillings, extraction and my partners RCT and subsequent crown were highly satisfactory and of extremely good quality and fit.
The cost was substantially lower than NZ and I would imagine Aussie too.
He is a highly qualified dentist with high standards, although becoming more and more commercialised.
His staff are also very highly qualified and extremely conscientious.
I would have absolutely no qualms over having fillings carried out there, but do make sure you know what you require/want before you go, or make it very clear that you want x-rays and diagnosis for treatment.
I might add, where I live in New Zealand, I would have had difficulty finding a dentist willing and able to carry out a proficient surgical extraction.....
