The only way you can find out "for sure" is to engage a Notaris or Public Notary. These people do in Indonesia what Land Conveyancers do in Australia - concluding that you are from Oz. They work only in their respective Regencies but can be engaged from "outside" and they then liaise with their respective Notaris contact in the Regency in which your land is located. But be careful!! Caveat emptor.
