If you are planning a trip to the Gilis off Lombok, or Lombok itself, it is wise to check your travel insurance. Some insurers don't cover Lombok with the cheaper 'Bali' options.
For example, Travel Insurance Direct have cover selection for "South Pacific and Bali", however, it you will spend the majority of your time in Lombok, you have to take "United Kingdom and Asia" which is nearly double the price.
1Cover include all of Indonesia in their "Bali" option, so work out a lot cheaper.
