Hope your trip works out we holiday for several weeks each year and stay at all the surf spots - try Balian if you want good surf and a chilled atmosphere. Kubu Balian is the spot run by an aussie guy with his Balinese wife. We stayed at Balangan Seaview cottages with the kids and it was fine, has a pool. Basic accom but very cruisy, cheap and able to get several surfs in a day. Cheers.
