nice choice..just love Sanur. As the others said definitely hire bikes and go for a ride or many from one end of the beach to the other. The restaurants and cafes along the beachfront and Jalan Tamblingan are for the most part fantastic (we struck 2 duds in 3 weeks). Do the Bamboo Shoots cooking school, go out on a local boat, go up to one of the beachfront Warungs on the way to the mercure and have freshly caught and cooked fish (we lved a place called Jack Fish where we hired sun lounges for day, were waited on all day , girls went for a jet ski etc). You can also get the boat over to Nusa Lembongan from Sanur. Its a great spot. We also loved the Kecak dance and bbq at the Hyatt (Wed nights) and the Legong dance at Cinnamon restaurant (Wed and Sun) and like the other said Hardys supermarket is great, have the fish spa outside and we found many of the things we wanted to buy were cheaper in Hardys than in the markets! Charming was our favourite restaurant (try the creme brulee). ENJOY!
