Well! have actually been home since Monday,but as i was in Bali for a Month, it has taken me longer to settle back in.
This trip was about seeing as Much of Bali as possible as well as spending time with Family who have moved there .
My first week was at Medewi the sister property to The Condos in Sanur !!
Well!! when we pulled up my Friend (Wayan) and my Bro were taking bets as to how ling I'd last
Veeery isolated ,No restaurants for Miles and catch a Bemo into Negarra as No drivers .
Having said that
IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!
Alex the manager and His staff coudnt do enough for you
Grounds and Pool are Immaculate AND they will get a Driver for you to do Day trips.
So off we go to Menjangin Island Isl for some snorkelling!!
You are given choices that they prepare and bring for lunch!Driven to the Harbour where we (6 of us... all strangers ) were Motored to the Isl for Shallow and deep ocean snorkelling!! It was great
Driving home we stopped at Hardys and had a good look around .Bought some Rose Gold and Onyx earings on the street!!
paid Aus $43 My jeweller fried has valued them at $360
Gotta be happy with that!! Went xploring to the beach and had to pass through a Cemetary onto Black sand Beach was a Bit Wary to swim as NOOO one else around ,but what an amazing outlook and Walk ..
Ate at The resort (Break Incl) and all meals were Beautiful,Basic,Fresh and Plenty of it.
Next day trip was to get to Lovina and Banjar Hot springs as well as Lunch stop at Lovina .Accomplished all of the above
Even Turned a corner and Slap bang into NOT one But 3 Cremations
We were locked in this tiny street as Hundreds of ppl converged past us
Then came the Pyre,then another ,Then another .I really dont think it could have been planned Better
Paid our respects to the Departed ,then we Left in search of the Springs
Found them!! Was xpecting an uncomfortable walk,Not so!!! leisurely stroll past Some Markets then Few steps to 3 Pools in a Tiered Fashion with one to The side on its Own
Floated for an hour or so,felt as though i was healed!!haha
All in all a Pleasant xperience
