Hi, we were there last year in June...yes the std rooms are small, but very clean & all you need. As you said you only sleep there. Otherwise, breakfast was nice, pool area lovely, fantastic view over Kuta beach....and a great location as across road to beach and walk to shops and Matahari shopping centre..etc etc. We stayed a few nights cause I wanted to be close to everything (shops/beach) before we went to our Villa in seminyak which was a bit further away from everything.
