I think Pulman is in a great location, close to markets and lots of restaurants. we had a standard room and it was beautiful, king size bed, big tv, nice balcony, great bathroom. Has dark wooden floors, a shaggy carpet rug on the floor, good lighting. Can't complain about the room at all.
We walked up to Kuta mainly to Matahari's. Quite a walk but we did it a few times. But everything you need is in Legian anyway. Hope this helps
