Here now, I was here a couple of years ago in July and it was a lot hotter then. But to be quite honest, the breeze at the moment off the sea cools it down just enough to make it comfortable. Hotel pools are not perhaps as hot as last time I was here, but that just means they're refreshing. Walking through Kuta this morning at 10 was rather hot! But when we got back to the hotel for a swim at 5 the breeze had picked up and it was coolish in the shade. Lots of very burnt people around so it's obviously hot enough to tan easily!
Haven't been into the sea, prefer the hotel pool, but from the number out there and surfers, it must be warm enough!
We did the Bali Baik tour the day before yesterday and several people were pretty burnt by the end of the tour. Singlet and shorts is still the order of the day for day and night, so much warmer than NZ at the moment...not looking forward to going home at all.
