If it is check in luggage (as it has to be because of LAGS rule) how do they know at the check in counter what's in your bags??
I just took a bottle of spirits (1 litre) in my check in with Air Asia and as expected no problem at all.
I can see why you would want to buy outside duty free at a bottle shop because DF wine is not cheap at all.
Ensure it's unopened bottles and properly protected and packed and you should be fine.
